Our ApprenticeShift Workforce Development Program for at-risk youth aged 16-24 involves several key components. The focus is on equipping these young individuals with the skills, resources, and support they need to successfully enter and thrive in the workforce. We offer programming to help reach these goals:
Skill Development – Offering training programs that focus on both hard and soft skills, such as technical training, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Mentorship Program – Connecting at-risk youth with mentors who can provide guidance, support, and encouragement as they navigate their career paths.
Job Placement Services – Creating partnerships with local businesses and organizations to facilitate internships, apprenticeships, and job placements that provide real-world experience.
Support Services – Providing additional support such as counseling, financial literacy education, and assistance with transportation or childcare to help remove barriers to employment.
Career Exploration – Offering workshops and resources that allow youth to explore different career paths and industries, helping them to identify their interests and strengths.
Community Engagement – Involving community organizations and stakeholders to create a supportive network for youth, enhancing their access to resources and opportunities.
Follow-up and Evaluation – Implementing follow-up services to track the progress of participants and evaluate the effectiveness of workforce development programs.
